Hi,

Tell me where to use have & had. That's a large question Have you looked in a good grammar book to read about the Perfect tenses? That's the best thing to do first. Have you ever studied the Perfect tenses before?

Please tell me whether the following sentences are correct or not?  1)I had seen you yesterday. Yes, this is fine. But whether you need the past perfect tense depends on the rest of your conversation. It depends on the meaning you want to express.

2)I have seen you many times at cinema hall. Yes, this is grammatically correct. But you need to say either 'at the cinema' or 'at the movies'.

Best wishes, Clive
