Hi All,

Last year we Migrated from Test Director Software to Quality center Software (Right now we have Quality center).I was reviewing our Strategy document. I saw one sentence

"Migration of Quality Center to Test Director "

I thought it should be

Migration of Quality Center from Test Director  OR

Migration of Test Director to Quality center

Can any one please tell which sentence is correct ?

Thanks

SK

I don't like either. You migrate from one place to another, eg from North China to South China. Thus, I'd say

Migration from Test Director to Quality Center.

Furthermore, when people migrate, they move themselves. In the computer workplace, you typically migrate things, eg data or applications. Thus, you'd say things like

Migration of the Company's Payroll Application from Test Director to Quality Center.

Best wishes, Clive
