DelmobileI'm wondering if "cashed" is short for "cashed in his chips," which
can mean "died."
The Urban Dictionary link by JC suggested connections with marijuana but yours is also a very reasonable guess. After I read JC's reply, I was trying to find connections between "batteries" and "cashed". I have in fact found the phrase "the battery cashed in its chips" in a couple of webpages and that "in its chip" kept me wondering. Now, the mystery is solved!
OseeI guess by juice it means the chemicals inside a battery.
Thanks, Osee. That's also the question in my mind. I just found from the dictionaries that juice can be used to mean anything from electrical power, petrol, personal influence, creative energy, strength, essence, etc., etc. This is quite surprising to me.
