Dear teachers,
Could you possibly explain the meaning of the phrase in bold type I came across on the Internet?

"That my friends is the curse of being labelled the Tylenol Man. Be that as it may, I can NOT change human proclivities. I shant try. Listen as you like."

Thank you in advance

It means you accept that a piece of information is true but it does not change your opinion of the subject that you are discussing.

and to add further, I would say this.
I assume Tylenol Man is thought of as a type of superman, that people think can fix everything.
So he says even though he is Tylenol man (ie "be that as it may" referring to what is said in the first paragraph, ) is isn't all powerful, and cannot change human proclivities.
