Hello!
Can you please help me with this. I need to find Latin names of the following plants:
kidney bean
pigeon bean
split pea
snow pea

I couldn't find the full names of tehse plants.

We might have to wait for Mr. P. here, Antonia. I can't find the precise botanical manes for the veggies you want, though I can give you English explanations.

pigeon bean- I found it listed as a fava bean.

I have only found "kidney bean" listed under French beans - Phaseolus coccineus

split pea - it is a dried pea (Pisum sativum)

snow pea a cultivar of pisum, but can't find which one.

Snow peas seem to be what we call mage tout, which are samll tender peas where the whole thing is cooked and eaten, pod and all

Yellow-seeded kidney bean.

Phaseolus vulgaris var. variegatus =
Variegated kidney bean.

pigeon peas
Cajanus cajan var. cajan =
Pigeon pea.

Cajanus cajan var. bicolor =
Spotted pigeon pea.

Cajanus cajan var. flavus =
Yellow-flowered pigeon pea.

snow peas
Pisum sativum subsp. sativum var. macrocarpon =
Flat-podded snow pea

Pisum sativum subsp. sativum var. macrocarpon (Red-Flowered Group) =
Red-flowered snow pea.

Pisum sativum subsp. sativum var. macrocarpon (Round-Podded Group) =
Snap pea, round-podded snow pea.
