Dear Teachers,

1. When your friend has just finished something very well, you will say "good job!", "well done!", "very good", "good work" or "beautiful work", right?

2. When someone has just finished something very badly. You will say "you suck!", " bad work!", or "terrible work!", right?

Thanks a lot to Teachers,

 Stevenukd.

Or you can say: you really messed it up, or less formally, you really f.. it up.
Or, you have made a dog's breakfast of it.

The phrase is dog's dinner, not dog's breakfast.

All of these negative phrases are really quite insulting so I'd be careful about who you use them to and in which circumstances.

2. You might just say here

"I am not sure I've got/understood you in/on this one!"
"Not my first choice of doing it!"

Depending on the circumstances, there are various ways of letting people know how you feel about the job or task they have done.  Aside from the ones already mentioned, the following is a few more for your reference.

Not so kind ways:

                            You screwed it up

                            You butchered it

                             You blew it

Did you know what you were going?

Polite ways:

There is a lot to be improved on

Thanks for trying. I will pick it up from here.

Can you please let me know next time you want to help?
