Hello Teachers,

I am just a student in learning English language, and I want to acquire the skills of a professional English teacher. So, what examination(s) I have to take in order to be a professional, knowledgeable English teacher? Who organizes those examinations? Thanks in advance.

Hi There,

This side kartikey from India, dear English learning is not so tough as people have made it. For becoming a good and professional English teacher, you need to update yourself daily with the help of Internet. Be ready to check the new worlds given by Oxford and one more thing which is very important, that is emotions while speaking. Launguage means to convey your thoughts. If you have same emotions and that can convey the same message you are trying to speak.

Thanks for considering this mail.

If you have any doubts in future, please contact me.

Take a teacher training course like the TESOL. If you're confident enough, take the CELTA.

Manila-based ESL/ESP teacher with a TESOL. Hoping to get a "Pass" in the DELTA.

Thanks, Teacher Eric. Would you mind further explaining the details about TESOL?  Who conducts this exam and what are the procedures to take up this exam? Thanks.
