This slang word I heard on tv has a negative connotation.  What is it referring to?

It's an over-exagerated pronounciation of 'b itch'. (without the gap, the forum censor won't let me say it as one word).

You'd sound quite daft saying it seriously. Well, I think people sound quite daft saying it anyway.
