Here is my list:

   1. Nas-- Mainly cuz of Illmatic and Gods Son. Has a large vocabulary and creates lyrics that carry heavy weight.

   2. T-Rock--The best rapper that you dont know. Yeah people say that T.I. and Lil Flip earn the status of king of the south, but have you really heard T-Rocks songs...especially from Conspiracy Theory? Truly, a great rapper hidden in sercrecy.

   3. Tupac-- The face of Rap. This man single handedly lead the charge from the west to put the whole west side into the rap game. If it was not for Tupac, there probably would not be as much influence with west side rap.

   4. Eminem-- The best white rapper around and an influence to a large audience below the age of 20. Can sway the audience with his lyrics and the style of his music.

   5. Three Six Mafia (Juicy J and DJ Paul)-- With so many albums into the fray of rap music, its a given that 36 Mafia is on this chart. Great lyrics that will get u believing that you could beat the *** out of anyone.

   6. T.I.-- The self-proclaimed "King of the South". This man owns many businesses and is fast become an icon in the rap era. His latest album brought his popularity to the grid iron map and his lyrics boosts his status no matter how you think of him.

   7. Lil Flip-- The beef between Lil Flip and T.I. always recreates a died down version of the beef with Biggie and Tupac. With appearances on 36 Mafia and his strong lyrics, Lil Flip is a rapper to be reckoned with.

   8. Notorius BIG-- One of the many rappers from New York, Biggie was considered the equal of Tupac but in my list he is number 8 because of the help he needed to provide his music to the audience which leads to the annoying but ever so there...P. Diddy.

   9. Jay-Z-- The man who can spit lyrics like a volcano shoots out lava in an eruption, his lyrics will blow you away with all the content in his rap style. His song Dead Presidents is a great one and strongly resembles his lyrical skills.

   10. Geto Boyz-- With so many songs and the rappers so old, its hard not to put them in here. Their one song, My Mind is Playin Tricks on Me, is truly a great song with a great beat and smooth lyrics. Many of their songs are different in comparisons and they can hit you from any side at any time with any song.

ALot of people think that 2pac was the greatest of all time, people say its either him or biggie, but i know a cat hotter than both of them hes from the nolia, lil wayne his *** lyrics are the crazyest you'll ever see, even when he freestyles he still kills it, and he does'nt even write his lyrics down he just keeps his *** off the top of his head, i dont think 2pac could freestyle good at all, biggie could, but never as good as wayne, lil wayne is probably the most underrated rapper ever and he's the *** greatest, but he is starting to get more recognition after hit songs with dipset, destinys child, and bobby valentino, but he was even sweeter before that. I think lil wayne is a flowing sensation no doubt about it, and that carter 2 is gonna burn ya haha. p.s the fireman is coming

1.Tupac
He made rap back in the 1990s no one will ever be able to out do him he rapped about the turth and became famous
2.Biggie
Dont like his music cause he east coast from New York only like westcoast but it true him and Tupac were the best but biggie has to be number to.
3.Dre
Nwa leader in my mind best rap group ever sugarhill....past nwa still in kids mind i mean *** the police and amazing song all his songs are
4.Eazy E
Now i dont no why i put Eazy as number 4 but to hard to choose now if he was still alive he be number 1 no matter what nas is not the best he *** eazy the best ever personal fav

I definetly say Tupac is the best. Explanation:
He had a reason for his music, because his lyrics weren't about ho's or cars but things that happen and really draw you in. Kids to white boys to even old people liked Tupac. That's what made him as real as he was. And he always was down to die for what he represented.

So my top 10:

1. Biggie- His lyrics were jaw dropping they still are no one would be him in a freestyle

2. Tupac- Wasnt as good as biggie when it came to lyrics but he rapped about the truth and spoke from his heart

3. Nas- One of the best rappers alive has had many heavy wieght songs and also like biggie has the lyrics

4. Mobb Deep- Queensbridge Finest these two made underground rap in the early 1990's both have very good lyrics esepcially prodigy hes just one hell of a rapper its a shame there underrated

5.Dr Dre- Hes been around for years him and snoop put west coast on the map along with tupac

6.The Game- Comptons most wanted, loves his hood and can rap to any sort of tune e.g 300 bars

7.Snoop Dogg- Another legend has made countless number of excellent tunes seems like all his songs are always hits.

8.Onyx- another underrated rapper and is not well known commerically one of the best in underground rap

9. Kanye West- Has made a huge impression in the rap game he produces songs aswel as raps definatley one to look out for

10. 50 Cent- Wasnt well known untill in da club and from there hes gone from nothing to a made man like snoop every single song of his seems to be a succsess
