I've worked on and around computers for a very long time (since the time MS-DOS version 3.3 was the latest and greatest) and I've never heard any other pronunciation that the one on Answers.com. OT I used to work with a guy who pronounced DOS to rhyme with "dose." Of course, everyone else in the world pronounces it to rhyme with "floss." RayH Pronunciation, Speaking, Languages
