Could anyone explain what it means ‘blood-borne substrates’ or ‘blood-borne glucose’?'
Thank you a lot in advance.
Alice
Hi,
'Borne' is the past participle of the verb 'bear', meaning 'carry'.
Something 'blood-borne' is thus something 'carried' by blood.
Or perhaps you are asking for a more scientific explanation?
Best wishes, Clive
Hello Clive,
Thank you for your explanation. I just wanted to make sure what it means. I am aware of its scientific explanation. Thank you again
All the best,
