Please explain to me what is a preclinical stage?'A preclinical stage of disability can be detected by adding question related to IADLs'

And what is a borad- and -care home?

And in this title:' surveys, invetories, diaries', does 'inventories' mean the questions used in the surveys and 'diaries' means the way we save the item responses?

Thanks for your help

And what is a board- and -care homeIt is a residential unit in which people have a room, their food and any assitance/care that may be needed

And in this title:' surveys, invetories, diaries', does 'inventories' mean the questions used in the surveys and 'diaries' means the way we save the item responses?  There is not enough context. Please give more information.

Thanks for your help
