I was struck by horror yesterday by what happened in london. This would never end. I feel that i really don't understand what is happening in this world, and why people can be so opposed in ideologies.

It's a shame that in such an advanced world, the human race is exhibiting more and more of cave-men like behaviour. Even though the literacy levels in most part of the world are high, it's as though the whole world belongs to an uneducated race!

It`s not the matter of education, it`s the matter of money.
USA capital by means of USA government escalates all this horror for many years...
Money, oil and world supremacy are very sweet things to own, are they? And bloody they are.
USA people are so zombied that they cannot see and counteract what is going on behind the scenes...
God help this planet...
P.S. I didn`t want to offend anyone by this. It`s just my personal opinion.

Chaoss,
I'm not offended by your post, I agree with you, and I'm American. Although your statement about the American people is mostly true, I believe it's a bit of an over-generalization. Not all Americans are zombied to where they can't see the large problem on our hands. I agree, we've gotten ourselves into quite a fix.
Best Wishes,
Sarah

Sarah!
I am very glad that there are people like you in the USA. It assures that there is some kind of hope and resolution of these problems down there, in the USA at first. We will survive altogether through this horror. And there would be a day when neither such word as a war nor terrorism will be familiar to our children.
But there are non-humans, and money are blind.
Hope is everything we have. And good will, of course.
Thanks for reply.
Yours, Chaoss.

I agree with you, Chaoss. There are many Americans who actually believe all the lies we are told, but certainly not all. I agree with KYSheeplover -- you must be careful not to generalize about Americans. There are many of us, especially on the east and west coast, who adamantly oppose this current Administration and how they are handling our global position.
I've lived overseas before and I know the news you hear about us is not as watered-down as the news we're hearing, so it's easy to think we are all zombies. Those of us here who actually pay attention to what's going on probably think this about many American's as well.
It is a dangerous time for all of us. I just wish we could all learn how to tolerate one another and live in a world where it's OK to agree to disagree.

This sounds as if Americans who don't support the war 100% don't support our current administration. I do support Bush and most of his ideals, but I do think he's made a few mistakes in this war. But what can we expect, we're all human, are we not?
My best wishes,
Sarah

Sarah. Sorry if I implied that. I do know of people who feel the same way you do, just not very many. And that's fine. True we are all human and make mistakes. I think GW's made many mistakes in this war, too - mainly getting us into it - but that's a debate for another time.

We are talking about bombs in London not America. It is sad to see some groups disenchanted by a way of life kidding themselves that terrorism and hatred will change things. They have tried to cause havoc in many parts of the world fortunately life goes on.The terrorists are killing their own people note Iraq, London, Russia. Spain etc. Good will prevail terror destroys itself.
