Hi

Is this sentence OK in your opinion?

Breathtaking Software Inc. today reported revenues of $67 million for its fiscal 2003 first quarter ended Aug. 31, 2002, compared with revenues of $100 million in its fiscal 2002 first quarter.

I'm especially interested in the part which says that ..first quarter ended Aug. 31, 2002. Does it make sense?

thanks

I would say  for its fiscal 2003 first quarter which ended Aug. 31, 2002.

This is a longer passage:

ST. PAUL, Minn., Sep 26, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Lawson Software, Inc. (Nasdaq:LWSN), today reported revenues of $87.4 million for its fiscal 2003 first quarter ended Aug. 31, 2002, compared with revenues of $103.9 million in its fiscal 2002 first quarter.

I'm just wondering if everything's fine with these dates!

They today reported (Sep 26, 2002) that the revenues of $87.4 million for its fiscal 2003 first quarter ended Aug. 31,2002, compared with revenues of $103.9 million in its fiscal 2002 first quarter.

These seem OK to me. Fiscal years do not correspond to calendar years. Have a look at http://www.investorwords.com/1984/fiscal_year.html
