If I can leave it out, does it mean I can say "This is Chris' house", without saying "Chrisiz" but just "Chris"? I don't think so.

Thanks

Hi Kooyeen

I didn't even know who Britney Spears was... Smile [:)] (Yes, I did. I know she is a pop singer  -  or whatever they want to call themselves thsese days. I am better familiar with Claudia Cardinale, though.)

I have quite a lot of experience talking to Americans, and many of them don't pronounce the nonexistent genitive s. [kris] is all right.

I really didn't know that. I suspected it was that way though... but it sounds so strange to leave out the Z sound sometimes.

If you don't have a sense of humor already, it's about time you buy one.
