What one may call one thing, another may call something else. Business Information Systems is perhaps a subset - but it's a meaningless collection of words unless the university offers a concentration in it. Spend some time at the Web sites for some major universities and see how they describe their business degrees. (Avoid the "business schools" because they specialize in the MBA, and I think you're talking about undergraduate degrees. Good luck.
