Hello Paradisse
Do you mean 'what is the average ratio of verbs to nouns in spoken and written English'?
If so...I can't find the answer anywhere online. No doubt there is a pdf posted somewhere that would tell you, but it may take some finding.
What level of accuracy do you need? It could be easier simply to take some sample pages from newspapers or magazines and count up the verbs and nouns yourself. If you have audio tapes of spoken English, with an accompanying text, you could do the same for 'spoken English'.
Or does anybody else know?

A frequency is a count.
The number of nouns (i.e. the frequency of nouns) in this post is 14 (frequency, count, number, nouns, frequency, nouns, post, 14, number, verbs, frequency, verbs, post, 5). The number of verbs (i.e., the frequency of verbs) in this post is 5 (is, is, is, hope, helps).
I hope that helps.
