I think certain things are to be taken into account before considering the possibility of a man helping in the housejobs(I don't really like the homemaker term).

1- the atmosphere he grew up in

There are guys that have never done anything in their house, in their childhood. There are families, where the boy, let it be alone or not is like the master, whatever the number of sisters he has and his position. Everything that is related to helping in the house is the concern of the girls. How do you expect a guy like that to get along with the idea of a man helping at home(though he can change later on)

2- The way women ask their husbands to help

What do you think the husband's reaction would be if you just walk in the room and tell him: "Darling, tomorrow you'll clean the bath, while I'm getting my nails done" I think a woman can bring her husband to do (almost)anything she wants. Just don't hurt his ego.

3- the women reaction's after the husbands start helping

I'm pretty sure almost all the husbands are more than willing to help at home, but the what-will-happen-next part can influence his decision.
