I have an essay that I needed proofread and I don't have anyone that could do it for me. If somebody out there is kind enough to proofread it for me I would GREATLY apprieciate it.

Everybody needs a quote to stand behind. If there is one such statement that I could mark on my gravestone that would be this:

I have a passion for creating video games. I can sit at home generate ideas for games all day at a whim. But anyone can be an idea person. What kind of person takes an idea from concept to creation? It takes a special breed of person with a strong creative spirit. That someone has to be willing to walk the path alone, sacrificing it all, just to reach their ambitions. My passion has always been to deliver to the world games that will inspire that same creative spirit. That creative spirit is what fuels my passions today. And to become the very thing I hoped for since childhood is worth to me more than anything I can imagine. So I packed my bags and left everything I knew; my family, my great paying job, and even a place to live.

The journey brings me to Arizona, where I will be attending college to earn a bachelors degree in game design. Here, I will gain specialized knowledge to take a concept, and visualize it. Once there is a vision, plan the course of action. Next comes to execute the plan, all the while maintaining the vision and managing your resources. Hopefully I will also squeeze in some leadership skills along the way. Upon graduation, I intend to find a job as a game programmer, and develop my talents in the industry.

I currently work at a community center teaching teens how to make video games. The goal of the program is to get students who have interest in gaming and show them a path so they can start their journey. I take students and teach them what it is like to visualize, plan, and execute a game project. Building on key values like creativity, team work, and responsibility, the students get a glimpse of what real designers go though when developing commercial games. With the program being only in its infancy there is much more potential to grow. And furthering my education provides with the means to develop more sophisticated courses for my program. The greater the understanding that I have for the workings of my profession, the greater ability in producing a solid program for the students of tomorrow.

The above statements are the reasons why I believe that I deserve your scholarship. I have the insight of what a good education can do and the drive to realize my aspirations. This scholarship will grant me the means to reach those goals. By providing a solid foundation for my educational needs, I will be able to focus on what I need to fuel my passion. Graduating with my bachelors and moving into game design industry, will grant me the opportunity to awe, inspire and leave my mark on the industry in a way like no other.
