Grammatically, it's okay. But do "most people" actually go to India? Or do you mean "Most people who go to India go there to clear their head"?

I think your question is actually about the singular versus plural use of head when you are talking about many people. In this context, it's clear enough: one head for each person, no more, no fewer.

I would say: "Most people go to India to clear their heads", because "people" is plural and "their" refers to more than one.
