Ms. Chen: Brian, you had better stop playing the computer game right away, or I will be very angry. And you ___ turn it on any more.

Brian: I know. But, Mom, may I play it after I finish my homework?

(A) can't (B) won't (C) don't (D) wouldn't

A is correct. Is B also acceptable?

Hi,

Yes. B is a strong expression of the Mother's will. It's like a strong statement of fact.

Don't think that you will play it later, because I'm telling you that you won't.

Best wishes, Clive
