Dear Teachers,

1. What he needs now is become a good cook and have much money, not a girlfriend.

- Is this natural?

2. They took the pains of figuring out that is isn't.

- " took the pains of figuring out" here means "tried very hard to figure out", right? and I think " to figure out" is better than "of figuring out", right?

3. If you truly care for this peron, and know they feel the same for you.

- Can I say "care about" instead of "care for"?

4. There's no reason to cut your family off or never see them again just because they don't approve of your choices.

- What does "cut off" mean here?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

This sentence is odd in many ways. Isn't what? Anyway, try this: They took pains to figure out that it isn't.

3. If you truly care for this peron, and know they feel the same for you.

- Can I say "care about" instead of "care for"? Yes, but note that it's not a complete sentence. If... then what?

4. There's no reason to cut your family off or never see them again just because they don't approve of your choices.

- What does "cut off" mean here? It's redudant with what follows - cut off contact with them. When a family cuts YOU off, they don't give you any more money.

Thanks very much to Teachers,
