One of the most important features of the restaurant is its castle-like exterior.

Hi,

Is it correct to replace "exterior" in the above with "appearance" and "look?" Thanks.

Your choices would change the meaning slightly. Appearance or look suggests the restaurant has the design of a castle inside and outside while exterior

restricts the design to just the outside, at least that's what I think. I'm just a learner so I could be dead wrong.
