Instead of saying we will catch his killers, I heard the following:
His killers will be caught.

What makes the difference between 'we will catch his killers' and 'his killers will be caught'?

we will catch his killers - active, personal construction

his killers will be caught - passive, impersonal construction

Subject of sentence in active voice.      

Sentence in pasive voice:  who will catch is not specified.
