CELTA

Hi,
I am interested in taking the Cambridge CELTA program. I live in Paris, and I am wondering if this progam is an accepted standard of quality in other countries. Should I be looking at other programs? Is there really a difference? Should the institution have some special sanctioning? Or is the fact that it is a Cambridge CELTA enough of a reassurance. All comments and advice on what to watch for are more than welcome.
