At least in America, the people who work in the cemetery don't actually even see the body -- the body is in a casket by the time it gets to the cemetery, and the workers there just dig the hole and cover it up.  The funeral home workers prepare the body before it goes to the cemetery.  The person who works in the funeral home and takes care of the bodies is called a mortician.
