Hi. Can you help me on these?

1. Do you see a need for hyphenation here? I don't see a need since I think it is clear the word "divinely" modifies the word "engineered" and not "coincidence." From what I know, I think an adverb modifies an adjective, adverb or a verb.

a divinely-engineered coincidence

2. Would you say the word "really" extends to the word "accomodating"? How would you reword the phrase if you did not want to make it such?

really gentle and accomodating behavior

How about this?

somewhat pompous and egocentric behavior

really gentle but not really accommodating behavior

One wonders why anyone would want to write such things.

Same opinion as above.

somewhat pompous but not at all egocentric behavior

somewhat pompous and extremely egocentric behavior

Again, one wonders.
