What does it mean? What is it? The whole sentence is:

"He was sitting up with a sick cow and leaving me a chain of sleepy stick elephants on my bed in the morning."

Thanks for your help Smile [:)]

What could possibly be the context for this?

A girl is talking about her father. It was something he used to do.

Presumably he used to make something out of sticks, little toys or trinkets for her, that look like sleepy elephants.
