Can we say "brave challenges"? What can go before "challenge"? take/face a challenge? Thanks a lot.

I searched on yahoo. It gave only one entry "Students brave chanllenges as Chaplain interns." A preposition phrase follows the phrase "brave challenges". I wonder whether the phrase "brave challenges" must be followed by something, it can't exist along.
