you told me, "i have completed my revision".
A third person would be needed. Otherwise it's impossible to change the sentence into indirect speech as there are only two people, "I" and "you". "You" already knows what he has told me, so it's pointless to tell him what he has told me.

Newt Gingrich, criticizing Mitt Romney, his rival for the US presidency: "He speaks French!"
I think this would be fine:

You told me that you had completed your revision.

(and I picture somebody like a professor, a supervisor or a boss telling this while scolding the other or complaining because the revision was actually not completed)

Please try to do that yourself first, Anon, and then we will check your effort.

"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master– that's all."
