What template should I use to type a character letter? My friend has a court hearing tomorrow to get a restraint order removed, he is a police officer and a very nice person.

Try to write a draft, and post it here. Then we can try to help you with comments. Begin just by saying what you would say if you were talking face to face with the judge.
