Hi I am new here and i hane to write  a formal letter. This is the topic:One of your friends has applied for a job teaching English abroad. They will also supervise pupils aged 10-16 outside school and organise games and activities. You have been asked to provide a character reference for your friend. You should say how long you have known your friend and include a detailed description of their character .You should also give reasons why he would be suitable for the job.220-260 words

To whom it may concern

Reference for John Fernadez
The purpose of this is to provide a character reference for John Fernadez whom I have known approximately 7 years. We were both studing for Advanced level of English. By second year, we had become friends and decided to take an off-campus apartment together. We shared that living arrangement until we both graduated last year.
Accordingly, having gotten to know John so well over the past few years,I believe puts me in a position to provide you with a pretty accurate description of his character.First of all,he is down-to-earth character and very concetrated in what he does.He can do it well with all ages people and specifically with kids because he love them.John is very independent and doesn't loose his temper very easy.Although never loose the control in difficult situations.
In addition,he is a very athletic and active person. He knows very interesting games and knows what children like so dont get bored during lesson.I would like to mention that he loves almost all sports and is competitive so he used to play in different teams till this last few years we known.

To tell the truth, I really can't think of anything of consequence on the negative side of the personality ledger when it comes to John. All in all, I would have to say that John Fernadez is a fine, well-balanced person with an abundance of positive qualities.
Sincerely,
Panos Pachymanolis
