I am a new user in this site. Can anybody please help me to correct it?
Dear Sir or Madam,
Having studied hard during my education to date, and gained good grades, I am applying to you to study for Masters of Science in Banking and finance.
I graduated in Computer Science from International Islamic University Chittagong, Bangladesh in April 2004. I studied computer courses - Algorithms, database management, networking, and software engineering as well as business and management courses – principles of accounting, economics and management during my graduation. The accounting and economics courses motivate me to build up my career as a banker.
In software development II course, I developed online banking software for Islami Bank. The software maintains clients’ information, transactions, Bank personnel Information and their wages and benefits. I enclose copies of the corresponding certificates and description of the subjects studied during that time.
Foreign banks - Citibank N.A., HSBC, Bank Alfalah, Commercial bank of Ceylon recently started operation in Bangladesh. They play excellent role in our banking sector. The growth of private banks in Bangladesh is also very much striking. The banks attract talented youths in banking for lucrative job opportunities. Like others, it also allures me. I worked in the largest private bank of Bangladesh, Islami Bank for five months to develop their online banking system. My experiences on the bank are etched in my mind. The time I passed on the bank prompt me to build my career in banking.
My dreams cannot be true without solid theoretical and practical experience in banking sector. An opportunity to complete the master’s degree in your university will augment my future career and provide me the knowledge, confidence and contacts to realize my dreams.
