Dear Student,

            No one from your class has applied to attend this year's summer camp. I have heard from your teacher that there were many complaints about last year's camp, and I would like to know more about what went wrong so that I can make better plans in future.

            I am most interested in receiving your comments on the location, the food, the sleeping facilities and the day and evening programmes. Please mention anything else you think should be changed.

Dear Miss E. Wong

                We do not want to go a summer camp this year because it was so boring last year, last year’s camp was bad location, few activities, nothing we learned and within short term. So I want to change location, add some interesting activities and increase the trip to within five days. If you listen to my opinions I probably would apply to attend this year’s camp.

                This year, I suggest our go to Cheung Chau where is a small island southwest of Hong Kong Island. There are good place for us. There are some ancient remains, a number of picturesque beaches and a lot of hills. There environment is very good that let you relax yourself. We rarely touch such place in my daily life. We must be very happy if there is this year’s camp location.

                I hope this camp add some activities such as cycling, swimming, surround Cheung Chau, go to see ancient remains. In the evening, we can dance, orienteering which most of student like.

                Moreover, I want to learn something in this camp. I suggest that we divide some groups before I arrive at the camp, planning the work shift for every group. Our works include preparing the canteen before having a meal, cleaning the canteen after having a meal. Also, if my group’s behavior is very good in activities or work, you should give my group award. If my group arrives late when all member are assembled, you should punish my group to do something such as increase my work.

                In addition, I hope the camp place have some facilities such as basketball, table tennis, snooker. There also is a place that go to wash clothes, but have not got any machine because I want to try wash clothes by myself.

                Above, it is my ideal camp. I went to such good camp before. When the camp we needed to leave, but everyone did not want to leave. It increased my friendship deeply and let me behaved more independence. I hope I can go this camp again. On the opposite, I don’t want to go the same last year’s camp.
