Hi, I have several sentences here, all of them are using "modal+have done" structure, and they are all about "deducing earilier possibility from the past". I've made these sentences but I'm not sure if they are right.

So could you please check out these sentences and see if they are all correct for me? Thank you for taking your time answering my question.

Affirmative:   He thought that it must have been Bob.

Negative →  He thought that it can't have been / couldn't have been Bob. (Which one is right?)

Affirmative:  He thought that it may have been / might have been / could have been Bob. (Which one is right?)

Negative →  He thought that it may not have been / might not have been / couldn't have been Bob. (Which one is right?)

Affirmative:   He thought that it will have been / would have been / should have been Bob. (Which one is right?)

Negative →  He thought that it will not have been  / wouldn't have been / shouldn't have been Bob. (Which one is right?)

"Should I" here suggests "Am I obliged to..." "Would I" suggests a speculation about a course of action. "Do I" suggests a request for advice, in a real situation. this is got from one of the posting
