hi guys - could someone please tell me which is correct:

1) Below, I have listed my three choices of work preference.

2) Below, I have listed my three choices of work preferences.

These sentences really don't sound grammtically correct.  Is there not a slight bit of redundancy in these sentences? i.e. choice and preference are sort of the same thing??
thanks

Hi,

I agree with your thoughts about this. I'd say something like this.

Below, I have listed my three choices as regards work.

Below, I have listed the three kinds of work I prefer.

By 'work', do you mean 'job'? If so, you might use the latter, or a word like 'employment'.

Best wishes, Clive
