Hi,

I've always called them simply 'articles'. I suppose it depends on how one defines an adjective. How do you define an adjective?

Best wishes, Clive

I've always tried to classify everything under the eight parts of nouns. It makes sense to me to do it like this and helps me organize my thoughts on English grammar. I wish I had a photographic memory  Big Smile [:D]

An adjective is a word to give more information to a noun so I'm guessing that articles do go under adjectives.
