Hi,

Normally, we use the present simple in a clause of time instead of the future.

Ex: We say Call me as soon as you have any news

But we don't say: Call me as soon as you will have any news

My question is: Do the same thing happen with clause of result? Can I say :.....such a hot day that we will.....?

If not, please give me an example.

Thanks

Result clauses are not restricted in the way that time clauses are.

It's such a hot day that we will probably all be exhausted after our picnic.
It's such a hot day that we'll have to stay inside where it's air conditioned.
Mother is out of sugar, so she'll borrow some from the neighbor.
