I have a lot of doubts in the paragraph, and I must make it clear by next month, as I have exam at the end of next month.

I must clarify them = I can understand it as, "I must explain them.................... to make him understand the doubts".

Because from the dictionary :

clarify = explain;

clarify = to make something clear or easier to understand by giving more details or a simpler explanation:
