Yesterday there was riots in our neighbourhood and even curfew was imposed for a few hours so we were inside home all day. Just now the police gave us the all-clear and we are going outside.

You should keep clear-headed mind so that you always make correct decisions. [from the dictionary, clear-head = able to think clearly]
