Dear Teachers,

1. If you have regrets about leaving him or wonder if you made a mistake and acted hastily, talk to him. Sounds like you should clear the air anyway.

- What does "clear the air" mean here?

2. She told her husband to get more involved in his son's life.

- "to get more involved in his son's life" means "to pay more attention to his son", right?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

 Stevenukd.

1) To openly and calmly discuss any disputes, problems or arguments.

2) yes, pretty much, but also means to take an interest in things relating to the boy's life, for example, his school results, discipline and health.
