What does "thrown out of context" mean?

[ I think that it means "one's view has been wrongly interpreted or exaggerated.]

I think you're right.
Like when a journalist cuts somebody's answer to a question, and quotes it in a totally different matter.

Praveen, there's no dot after "Mr", because the "r" is the last letter of the word.
