I am entering your expense into the system. Hopefully we are going to the payment today. I, however, have a small problem with your dollar-denominated expenses . There is an amount of $108.15 under Product Related Costs. The receipt is not here, so I do not understand to what this refers. Could you please explain me where I should enter this?

Dear sir,

You may say:-

Hi Charles

I am just putting your expenses through the system. Hopefully we will be able to pay them today. But I have a small problem with your dollar expenses. There is a amount of $108.15 under Product Related Costs. I don't have a receipt for this. Could you please let me know where to post this.

Kind regards, Smile [:)]

Just a minor revision on Goldmund's version (including the typing of two spaces after each period):

I am just putting your expenses through the system.  We hope to be able to pay them today.  However, I have a small problem with your dollar expenses.  There is an amount of $108.15 under Product Related Costs.  I don't have a receipt for this.  Could you please let me know where to post this?

Dear Davkett,

I did not know that «but» or «hopefully» were incorrect. It is most perplexing.

Hi Goldmund,

One could probably debate 'but/however', and even, for different reasons, 'hopefully'.  Here is only one resource on 'hopefully':  http://www.bartleby.com/61/41/H0274100.html

It's perhaps, a nit-picky kind of debate.

EDIT:  Here, I think 'hopefully', as the adverb that it is, will translate like this-- 'We will be able in a hopeful manner to pay...', or-- 'In a hopeful manner we will be able to pay...'
