Go away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.

What's the difference in meaning between the above two sentences?

Hi,

Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.

Go away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.

What's the difference in meaning between the above two sentences?

#1 suggests the speaker is or will be at the place, too. It might be said by a friend, for example, or by a travel company  whose representative will be there.

#2 suggests the speaker will not go.

Best wishes, Clive
