Hi all

I was just wondering if you say 'Where does this(something) come in place?'', does that mean you are asking how this one thing fits in with the rest? Is this an idiomatic way to say it?

For instance, if I was having trouble understanding a topic which involves a lot of concepts and ideas, and I wanted to know how one particular concept is related to the topic and other concepts, is this a natural way to ask for clarification?

Thank you

Success - it is not the position where you are standing, but which direction you are going.

I've heard "come into play" used in this context.

Thanks for replying, Delmobile. Smile

I must have heard wrong then. 'come into play' must be what was actually being said.
