I (myself) found a definition

come undone lose self-control, disorganized, at loose ends, fall to pieces When she's near me, I come undone. I can't think or talk!

Do you think it applies to robbie williams song??

You've got the meaning, ele. Here's a famous 60s song that used the same idea.

http://www.guntheranderson.com/v/data/undun.htm

ARTIST: The Guess Who
TITLE: Undun
Lyrics and Chords

She's come undun
She didn't know what she was headed for
And when I found what she was headed for
It was too late

What RW's song did you mean? Can you provide a link to the lyrics?

Hello Ele

'To come undone' means 'to become unfastened':

1. 'My shoelaces have come undone.'

It's used when things 'undo themselves': laces, buttons, fasteners, etc.

IS ANYBODY READING OUT THERE??

Yup, Mr P and I are, ele.

It does have the literal meaning that Mr P says but you've also got the figurative meaning right. I doubt very much that Robbie Williams is singing about his shoelaces

Of course Robbie Williams is not talking about his "unfastened" or "untied" shoelaces. "Undone" also means "ruined" or "destroyed".

Hope this helps! Smile [:)]

'Undone' in the sense 'destroyed' is used thus: 'I am undone', 'he is undone', etc.

'Come undone' means 'to become unfastened', 'to unravel'. That's the sense in which the phrase is used in this lyric; metaphorically, of course.
