The sentence I am trying to punctuate is:

When somebody steps on your toe or brushes against you, rather than saying, “Hey! Watch where you are going buddy!”, instantly the words of the Father should rise from your spirit.

Should I have a comma after the words - buddy!", instantly - or not?

This must be a hard question since I have gotten no answers. I would still appreciate any input into this question. Do I need the comma or not?
