1) “The texts quoted tell us that, by suspending judgment, the Pyrrhonist unexpectedly attained the goal of unperturbedness, which at the beginning of his philosophical journey he thought he would reach by the contrary attitude, that is, by assenting to the view or views he would discover to be true, and hence by holding the correct beliefs.”

Are the commas in “, by suspending judgment,” ok?

2) “Finally, we must also remember that at PH iii 13–29 Sextus deals with efficient causes, arriving at suspension of judgment on the matter.”

Should I put commas before and after “at PH iii 13–29”?

3) “Especially the passages referred to here has led Richard Bett to propose an original interpretation of AD v according to which, at least in part of this book, Sextus expounds a type of Pyrrhonism inconsistent with the one defended in the rest of his work.”

A comma before “according”?

4) “Towards the end of this section I shall refer to the possible reasons for the occasional use of a terminology that seems to imply that the Skeptic does in fact hold beliefs.”

One after “this section”?

Thanks,

Sextus
