Eric is a professional sports commentator. His commentary/comment is always spirited and informative.

Do both commentary and comment work with the above wording and mean about the same? Thanks.

Hi,

Eric is a professional sports commentator. His commentary/comment is always spirited and informative.

Do both commentary and comment work with the above wording and mean about the same? No.

He's a sportscaster, so he makes many comments, not just one. Say 'commentary'. Or 'His comments are . . .'.

Such guys never shut up.Big Smile [:D]
