While sifting through the daily mail I found the lexical choice Conflict, While pondering the idea of why the compact uses this teminolkogy I cam to the following conculsion,"The reason the daily mail used this was because the world conflict isn't as large as a war and a conflict is normall a issue that has aroused between two or more people they use the teminology,"conflict" instead of the word fight because its a more sophisticated way of putting it and you would think that the word fight and war would be used by the tabloids. While exploring the the depths of this word I found that the word conflict could be a metahphor for the conflict between death and life where the soliders that are fighting in Iraq are grasping life with what little power they have and running from the disease that is death itself. But while looking at the tabloid it used the word fight this expresses the need to overcome something physically or mentalkly this may be the widows trying to come to overcome the death of there husband it contains an auras of attempting to acieve something or a struggle between two or more beings, For example the emotional struggle between love and death. So reall both word choices have a deeper meaning to them and with some investigation the deeper meanings can be uncovered.
Thats two I decided to compare but as yoiu can see im trying to anayalis each word in a critical way of thinking im stuck though now because does anyone have anything to say on the word seriously its in the sentences "Three more men understoff to be a mixture of army and marines personnel, were seriously injured in the rembrance day on sunday" any comments?
